Welcome to the gallery of Paul Cook Photography. Here you will find a collection of some of my own personal favourites from my extensive photography and digital art portfolio.

I have had a love for photography and art for most of my life now, although my passion for photography really kicked in properly in 1999. A few years later I eventually moved from film to digital and have never really looked back. I have now collected several awards and prizes for my photography such as the Scottish Natural Heritage Wildlife Photographer of the Year, as well as being shortlisted in many international competitions. My work has been published in various magazines and newspapers, as well as being used as album artwork and on promotional materials and posters for various organisations.

My initial passion in photography was for landscapes and wildlife, as I am fortunate to live in an area of Scotland with a rich diversity of flora and fauna, with some stunning landscapes as a backdrop. However, I have also developed an interest in urban photography and alternative modelling shoots, as well as experimenting in various other areas.

While some of my images are true to the scene/subject in front of me, I also enjoy editing and manipulating images through Adobe Photoshop and various other software packages such as Photomatix, Niksoft, Tiffen Dfx and Portrait Professional.
